Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) Occlusion Device.

The ASD Occlusion device is a percutaneous transcatheter permanent implant device, intended for closing Atrial Septal Defect. Each device is made from superelastic nitinol wire mesh with good shape memory characteristics. The two discs are connected by a short cylindrical waist which corresponds to the defect size.After implanted,two discs are fixed on two sides of the ASD. In order to increase the closing ability,PTFE membrane is securely sewn into discs and waist.
